Hispanic-HEAL stands for Hispanic Health & Education Alliance

Our mission:
“To promote health through radio broadcasting, internet, seminars, workshops, mentoring, counseling and health preventive services that are linguistically and culturally appropriate for the Hispanic community”

Even before the foundation of Hispanic HEAL, Graciela Baugher, Frank Clavijo, Marcela Toledo and Jorge Cisneros  were already actively involved in promoting and serving the Hispanic community in Colorado in the area of preventive health and motivation. Their desire to be known as a helpful health information resource for the community culminated in the foundation of Hispanic–HEAL and the creation of a radio show called “Reconoce Tu Salud” (Acknowledge your health) which has been on the air for 21 months on a weekly basis.
